Because these are a twist on a classic American food, I paired them with my list of tried and true classic thrillers.
These are great for summer barbecues or pool parties. Kid friendly and easy to make, you can really make them with whatever toppings you prefer on your burger. You probably have the ingredients for these in your refrigerator and pantry right now.
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- Favorite burger toppings – I used: spicy pickles, tomatoes, cheese
Mix all ingredients except toppings and form into 16 small patties. Grill on stovetop using grill pan or cast iron skillet about five minutes per side or until cooked through (not pink in center). Top with favorite burger toppings and hold together with a cocktail toothpick. Serve warm or room temperature.
Dipping Sauce: Mix 1/4 cup mayo with 1 tablespoon dijon mustard.
