Slice of Life is a regular update on the latest in my life. This is where I write about my books, movies, tv, food, fashion, family or whatever subjects are on my mind that week. It’s just a little glimpse of my slice.

  • Anyone else gearing up for #NonfictionNovember? Check out this awesome list of popular nonfiction books.
  • I recently signed up for Chirp and given the increasing space audio books are taking up in my life, I am really loving the deals. This post explains how it works really well.
  • I have been loving watching Joanna Gaines on Instagram as they get their newest venture – a coffee shop called Magnolia Press – up and running in Waco. Can’t wait to go check it out!
  • Lady power!
  • Weekend reading plans include finding as many excuses as possible to stick headphones in my ears and listen to the second book in Stephen King’s Bill Hodges trilogy: Finders Keepers. (Pictured below is Mr. Mercedes, the first book in the series which I loved. Here’s my Instagram review.)
