
Slice of Life is a regular update on the latest in my life. This is where I write about my books, movies, tv, food, fashion, family or whatever subjects are on my mind this week. It’s just a little glimpse of my slice. (“But what about the great deals on books?!” Just keep on scrollin’.)

- I am lucky not to have any real severe allergies, but I do have a few food sensitivities. Recently, I have had a few reactions but had no idea why because I thought I had been successfully avoiding my known triggers. Come to find out, the FDA is temporarily allowing certain substitutions, without having to label them. Watch out!
- I dare you not to love this.
- Any of these books would be great for listening in the car if you are trying to squeeze in one more summer road trip before school starts.
