Slice of Life: Weekly Book Deals, Links and Tidbits

Staying at home

Slice of Life is a regular update on the latest in my life. This is where I write about my books, movies, tv, food, fashion, family or whatever subjects are on my mind that week. It’s just a little glimpse of my slice. (“But what about the great deals on books?!” Just keep on scrollin’.)

  • We are hanging in there, but life is kind if kicking my butt right now. I am doing my best to add new and fresh content, but I am struggling a bit. My weekly book deals newsletter will start soon, but I have been delayed in setting that up while I focus on the added tasks in my life due to being in quarantine (my workload got bigger with everyone home all day). However, I am still posting the deals I find on this post every week (below).
  • I don’t know about you, but I needed these tips on self grooming during this time.
  • Running low on eggs? Here are some easy substitutes.
  • One good thing for many readers is the ability to escape into books. A great lists of lighthearted books here (plus, I did an escape reading list linked below).
  • Bookworms who are missing their favorite author events can always tune into this stay-at-home author series.

Amazing Book Deals

Whether I have read (and loved) it, heard about it from fellow bookish friends or actually have it on my own “to be read” list, each book below made this list because it’s on my radar (AND because it’s on sale). Note: Book bargains are subject to change so act fast!

NOTE: My weekly book deals list will soon be moved out of “Slice of Life” and onto to its own page on my site. The new book deals page will be updated (and emailed to my mailing list) on a weekly basis.
